What a bright day despite the rain with Amelia @ameiilz, learning and searching through an enchanted collection of vintage clothing with @the_fiona.special 🎁❤️

For someone whose tendency is to sing and write their way through life, it's annoying that I'm often at a loss for words when it comes time to post... anyway, here it goes: A friend reminded me recently that perfectionism is rooted in white supremacy- it stopped me in my tracks, and it was one of those beautiful, necessary mental shatters- a holy, momentary, shattering of illusions, and remembering. I've been reevaluating the weight and value of perfection/perfectionism lately, and seeking to observe how far it reaches into my personal day to day (intending to use the observations to do better in the outside world). Oh lordy. It has definitely slowed me down, and held me back from consistently living out my purpose on earth. I love learning wayyyy more, and I'm seeking to accelerate. So here's to saying fuck it, and fuck white supremacy!!!! Hello whoever you are❤️, wherever, and whenever you are. I'm grateful you are reading this and I am wondering who you are at this very moment in time👀👁️ I hope you'll check out my music (Velise on all streaming plataformas)<- there is so much more ahead !! Please reach out any time with musical inquiries. And! No matter what, I hope your day only gets better from here😋✨❤️❤️❤️

music and love & love + music as an act of revolution and resistance ✨ 🌙🎵

...

Last night I heard a voice
sitting under the moon
Singing of what is to come
in a painful, eerie tune
It sang of deep, dark dungeons
of bloody, purple screams
It sang for all the children
whose lives turned into dreams
Not pretty dreams by any means
but dreams of pain and fright
It sang the world forevermore
may be a nightmare come to life

That mournful voice I heard last night
made me want to cry
The pain was much too strong for words
yet tears refused to fill my eyes
Now anger, rage, and madness
penetrate my worried mind
How could we allow this to happen?
Our poor world we must bind.
When the song stopped I asked, how-
what can possibly be done?

The reply:
My child, the world must come as one
Money, happiness, war, love,
prejudice or acceptance-
the snake is the dove.
Listen carefully, perhaps look to the moon
For the unexpected places hold
the answers played in tune.

The nose Knows! What is cuter than a Goat’s snout? Honestly, not much. 🐽🐐💕

Goat noses or snouts are generally long and broad with slit-shaped nostrils at the bottom. Nose/snout shape can vary by breed. For example, Riverside GOAT, Romeo, is a Nubian goat and those goats have a Roman nose shape.

Goats have an excellent sense of smell and it is one of the ways they are able to identify their owners. The Riverside GOAT volunteers are missing their little goat noses and hope they are enjoying their new digs!!
