LA always felt like my unwritten chapter, my missed connection. I felt a pull to the West Coast in my 20s but ended up moving to the South instead and always lived wistfully with the “what if” each time I visited. My LA friends always made the city feel like a spiritual home. As the fires rage on and every day the news delivers a fresh new horror it has also been inspiring to see the LA community - and the rest of the country - rise up quickly to help one another. Every effort counts, practically and spiritually. Our hearts are broken but if any community or people can charge forward in the face of destruction it is a magical city made up of creative energy and big, seemingly impossible dreams, often inexplicably realized. Every purchase of the I “I Heart LA” edition of our vintage inspired open faced locket charms, 100% of the proceeds will be immediately donated to a vetted family in need of assistance, as I friends on the ground assessing community direct needs. Or feel free to DM after purchase and designate where you would like your donation made and proudly wear your love for LA in this exceedingly difficult time. I Love You LA. We love you.
