sometimes you just have to take a look around + realize you’re living in moments you once only dreamed about 🥹🤍

a little backstory because this one means so much to me...

@laceysbestlife and i met online. what started as me investing in my own business + hiring her to help me prepare for maternity leave turned into conversations about motherhood, entrepreneurship, big dreams + the need for a community of women who just get it.

somewhere along the way, we started dreaming up something of our own. a space where mamas could show up as both moms AND business owners, feel supported in every season and have a circle of women genuinely cheering them on.

and then... we actually did the thing🥹🩷

we launched @modernmomcollectivestl, hosted our very first sips + strategy workshop... and you guys, we SOLD OUT!!

a room full of women showing up for themselves, investing in their businesses, sharing ideas, making connections + cheering each other on. everything we had talked about creating was happening right in front of us.

i think sometimes we’re so busy chasing the next goal, checking off the next to-do and wondering what’s next that we forget to look around and see how much of what we once prayed for is already here.

so here’s your little reminder, especially to the mamas building businesses in the margins of motherhood: keep dreaming the big dreams. find your people. invest in yourself. and don’t be afraid to actually go for the thing that’s been sitting on your heart.

because one day, you might just look around and realize you’re living it 🫶🏻

feeling so incredibly grateful for this little community we’re building and every woman who has been part of it. this is only the beginning 🎀

Some sessions just stay with you. Photographing a newborn is always such an honor but documenting this season for my dear, sweet friend @ameliaarynne hits different 🥹 the way her two boys already belong to each other… that’s the kind of boyhood you don’t pose, you just witness. I’m so happy these photos exist!!
