Camp Daniel 2026 🥹

This was my second time spending a week here with my church and it exceeded my expectations greatly. I got to be a counselor to the sweetest girl ever, Stella. It was her first time coming to Camp Daniel and she was immediately comfortable being herself, especially to other campers. Stella gives everyone the biggest smile, a hug, and an “I love you.” She says it so casually but truly means it to everyone she’s around. I am so so grateful that I got paired with her this summer because she reminded me that optimism is so necessary in life when interacting with others, and more importantly, yourself. Stella truly is the sweetest person I have ever met, and I want to be like her when I grow up. I’m so grateful for everyone I met, and all of the campers I got to spend time with; each interaction was so special to me. 😊

Jesus crafted every one of these campers to have traits to make the world better, and this summer camp is such an amazing place for them to showcase that to others. Thank you @camp_daniel and WLC!! 🤗

Go red team!! ❤️❤️

Camp Daniel Internship 2026
I don’t know how I’m supposed to sum up what kind of life changing experience this was. This summer I spent two months at Camp Daniel, serving children and adults with disabilities. Over this summer I learned what it really means to love, serve, and grow. I was challenged in ways I didn’t expect, and while I had moments of failure, I learned to keep pushing myself and trust God through it all. This summer I really learned how to be selfless and serve others. I made unforgettable memories, built new friendships, and treasured the friendships and memories I already have. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for this opportunity and everything it taught me, but all good things do come to an end. I already miss everyone and this internship so much! I Hope to see you all soon!

Halfway through summer update!:
The first half of my summer missionary internship at Camp Daniel has changed my heart in many ways. God has shown me more about who He created me to be. This year at Camp Daniel the theme is “More Than Gold”. We get to teach our campers about how god loves them, and their value is not any less than anything else. I’ve learned to find peace, joy, and love in the smallest moments, and those moments have felt like the biggest blessings. I feel as though I could go on and on about all the amazing experiences and interactions I’ve already had so far. I’m so thankful for everything God has taught me so far, and I’m excited to see what He has planned for the next three weeks with all of our amazing volunteers and campers!!

MUCH ADO💌💌💌!!!!! what an absolute honor it was to be able to step into a room as a woman like Beatrice; a woman who is smart, and crass, and funny, and loving, and free. i cannot stop walking with my hands behind my back nor can i get the side part out of my hair and i hope the new parts of me that are her stay forever. ive never been a part of a show where the strength of our cast bond has been as impactful on our performance as it was in much ado- but our closeness made sharing the stage with these talented people feel so electric. i truly did love getting the zingers in 😔 fingers still crossed for much a-two. hey nonny nonnyyyyyyy
