dolly’ll never go away again🚂🧳🌆

i hate to be a long caption writer, but this was truly an experience of a lifetime. my heart hurts knowing that my time as mrs dolly gallagher levi is over. what an honor it was to preform with so many talented people and make so many new friends. this journey has taught me so much and i will forever be thankful for this opportunity. the endless hours spent memorizing lines and rehearsing songs was worth every second. though my time in the program was short, the impact it made and the joy it brought to my life is something that will stay with me for a long long time.

so goodbye dolly, thank you for teaching me to embrace my independence and to never give up on my dreams.

Growing up happens to all of us, just some sooner than others. One day, someone holds your hand through practices, as you learn the differences between Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass are. Then, the next dawn comes, and you’re the one holding the hands. Telling the little guys to be quiet backstage, and picking them up when they’re down. But now, i’ve grown up. And it’s time for me to leave it all behind. Leave the community I inspired, to restart, and be the little guy again. I love my family I could be in. A family of love and acceptance and inspiration and support. I’m gonna miss the community I contributed to, and I’m going to move on. Still, I’ll come back, but i never TRULY will be back again. That, in of itself, is beautiful. I’ve only performed 16 times for blackhawk… 16. You dont have many shows, so make them count. My last note, is a thank you. It’s not very obvious, but I struggle with self esteem. And I’d like to thank musical for changing the voice in my head. Usually i’m thinking “you can do better” or “that sucked”. But on Friday night, i could only think of five words. “Why did you doubt yourself?” Thank you to musical. I’ve loved… almost every second. I can’t wait to watch my “kids” grow up. Oh, and the hidden meaning. I’m only leaving for now, I’ll be back to watch whatever show next year :). Thank you to everyone in the cast, and especially everyone in the TWENTY photos above. I can’t wait to watch my last sunset, in 80 or so years, remembering the love that came from Hello Dolly. I’ll never forget you all. Dolly, truly, will never go away again.
