Amelia and I saw our 4th different company performance of Come From Away. This one included one of her favorite substitute teachers in the cats, her 9th grade English teacher as musical director, and her choir director working lights—and for one night only voicing the role of Claude since the actor lost his voice. We also ran into a some fellow Boyceville people and a couple cast members Amelia knows from theatre life.

Closing day for Beetlejuice Jr. Amelia, aka Miss Argentina, absolutely loved this experience @chippewavalleytheatreguild. In two weeks, she learned more about stage makeup, helped with costuming, explored performing with a different theatre, met some pretty great teens from the area, belted a solo, and continued to grow in her confidence and performance skills. Proud would be an understatement.

Somewhere along this journey, I managed to meet a friend and we just clicked. Our kids adore each other and the friendships just feel comfortable. Yesterday was such a fun day of gym time for the girls, 6 hours of pool time and ice cream to end the day.
