As they say, forgiveness isn’t for them.
It’s for you.

Letting go has been one of the biggest obstacles I’ve ever faced…
but wow, is it liberating.

During my marriage breakdown, I was angry, resentful, defensive, self-destructive.
Holding on to everything that was tearing us apart.
Trying to control what was never mine to control.
Allowing myself to be controlled by someone else.

Then I had a revelation… remembering my parents’ separation.
Suddenly I saw their journey differently.
I understood how heavy that decision was.
And I promised myself:
If my path ever required letting go, I would show my children a different way.
A woman who releases with grace.
Not bitterness.
Not victimhood.
But power.

When the pain of holding on became greater than the fear of letting go.
I chose freedom.

Radical responsibility for my life shifted everything.

Letting go isn’t erasing what happened.
It’s transforming the experience from a place of power.
Closing a chapter that is no longer aligned
to make space for a more beautiful future.

I’d envisioned my resilience tattoo for years.
And as I closed my last chapter, there was no better moment to make it official.

And choosing Amen Tattoo Parlour in Miami?
Divinely aligned.
✨ Here’s to grace.
✨ Here’s to freedom.
✨ Here’s to resilience… forever.

Have you ever had a moment where you chose to let go for your own peace?
I’d love to hear your story 🤍

Inspired by his two cats 🖤
Took a simple idea and turned it into something more personal, adding details from them to make the piece stronger and more striking. Loved doing this one.
