oh my, what a weekend. So insanely grateful for this beautiful fragrance community — this weekend @fumedexpo was a reminder why we fell in love with fragrance— and that’s sharing it with you. Being able to share our olfactive stories, commune over a shared sense of nostalgia, and a witness the threads that tie us all together. Thank you to all who came out! @devonrufo and I look forward to seeing you again. - Mason Special thanks these incredible humans for such a special weekend @kylemottkannenberg @osm_perfume @lipstickassassin @daisydeadpetal @sydbotanica @thealloystudio @thedrydown.insta @ttunasmells @sooohuman @tekesfragrances @american.perfumer @eaudeyosh @scenttrunk @_maisondekate and so so so many more.

We attended @fumedexpo in Atlanta this weekend and it was a great experience. I’ve been to several Fragrance Conventions and this was a more intimate experience. It wasn’t crazy crowded and you really got to connect with the brands and perfumers. Shout out to the beautiful @heartnotesbyholly for joining me. @zernell.gillie @vandangfragrances & @worldofchriscollins are already some of my favorite perfumers so it was nice to connect. Loved experiencing new brands like @freeyourselfandflourish @american.perfumer @mysavoirfaire @cult_of_kaori

The FUMED indie perfume expo haul 🤩 I went to @fumedexpo with a few goals: discover new fragrances, meet the artists behind the brands, and come home with pretty things to photograph. Mission accomplished! Fragrance can be an expensive hobby, so I love the idea of discovery sets. Instead of committing to one full-size bottle, I can experience a whole range of scents from each brand and see what I like best. Plus, can we talk about the packaging?! As a photographer, I’m just as excited about all the creative possibilities here as I am about what’s inside these little bottles. I’ve already got ideas for photographing several of these, and I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with each collection. From left to right and top to bottom (more or less) here’s who came home with me: @freeyourselfandflourish @paraphrase.perfume @atwoodparfum @american.perfumer @banomariafragrance @cirrus_parfum @harlemperfumeco @nosuparfum @clstprfms @mocofragrances Now comes the fun part: smelling everything and deciding what to photograph first!

@fumedexpo You know how to do it....you showed up and showed out!!! Some of the things I really loved....some I had never heard of and sent time talking with them the most. Some I had previously met and it was great to catch up agin. Getting to meet Kyle OSM and chat briefly about my launch...what a generous spirit he is. Seeing my friends @thealloystudio seeing @kens_olfactory_odyssey and finally getting to meet @matteoparfums in person...he is also a generous perfumer who very very early in my journey showed me an incredible kindness...I will never forget his input. Lastly, there were so many I will bookmark and tag in my brain to watch and to discover more about them @clstprfms @parfumsobim @picturafragrans @tekesfragrances @rdzparfum @blackcliffparfums @house.of.mammoth @kiokufragrance @jeanrobert.co @saintcharlesparfums @atwoodparfum @tankhousenyc OMG so so many more

Fumed Atlanta is a wrap! And I need a nap. What an amazing couple of days. Met a lot of awesome people, caught up with old friends, tried some excellent perfumes, and had a generally great time. Over 65 indie perfumers under one roof. I didn't get a chance to get to them all, but I did discover a few new ones. Met some perfumers I've admired for years. I was well-behaved but did come home with a few new bottles. The before and after parties were a blast as well. Dinner one night and brunch the next morning. What a great way to spend a weekend. Huge shoutout to the team at Fumed and all the perfumers. Everyone was so nice and just in good spirits - and Hurricane Isaias took it easy on us, thankfully! #perfume #cologne #fragrance #indieperfume #FumedAtlanta #FumedExpo #SOTD #fragheads

I like this direct tagline “no BS”. I didn’t say it. No smoke screens @fumedexpo 👍 Three brands for whom i’ve created. Louisville, Kentucky - Durham, North Carolina (i will be there next week Thursday all day @vermillionstyle ) - Atlanta, Georgia. I like no BS America. Three very different ways to design and offer perfumes, and support artist perfumers. Come and visit them today: @american.perfumer @liberationofflowers @mysavoirfaire .

Today's fragrance is Bloodline from @hendleyperfumes and @american.perfumer At first, a huge smoke vibe, as if walking through an extinguished Forest fire. Then, it starts to mellow out, and pine and fir saplings emerge from the ashes. The air starts to clear and become fresh and invigorating. A truly unique olfactory experience.
