Still thinking about this trip on the daily.

The chance to represent my country in a sport I love is a dream come true and to be able to do that two years in a row was an amazing opportunity. The amount of learning and commitment my team put in with the time we had was unrealistic, from the weekly online meetings before camp, the 5 hour trainings, and freezing cold hydro, all resulted in the outcome we had worked for. 36-22 against New Zealand. To my head coach @aussieballcoach, the work you put in behind the scenes not only putting the best coaches together, but running the best program possible for us whilst coming out with 2 wins is wild. I appreciate what you have done for me and giving me the opportunity to play quarterback for Australia, and will forever be grateful for the memories we’ve created. @coach.brewster and coach Grace putting in hours to to perfecting my craft and believing in me to lead the team to a win. And to @xocourtneyleighxo for putting up with all the nonsense that went with being a team manager of 40+ teenage boys and most importantly being the person I could rely on most when away, whether football related or personal you were always there for myself and my team no matter what.

Green and Gold for life.

It was this season the dream of going to America to play in the NFL became more like a goal. Being part of a bigger team, still in U14s but looking ahead to an U16s team for the following year was a strong possibility. Who knew what the future could hold but the dream was there. And it was big and free!
