Five years. One vision. A lasting impact.

Some journeys are not measured by what we achieve for ourselves, but by what we are able to give to others.
Today, I am particularly proud to celebrate five years of AMI, an association I am honoured to be a member of, and the incredible work carried out by its team across Latin America.
Behind every project, every initiative and every person we support, there is a simple but powerful belief: real change begins with commitment, solidarity and action.
Over these five years, the AMI team has demonstrated that when people come together around strong values and a genuine desire to help, even small actions can create a meaningful and lasting impact.
I am truly proud of what this team has accomplished and grateful to be part of this journey.
Happy 5th Anniversary, AMI.
Five years of dedication.
Five years of humanity.
And hopefully, many more years of making a difference together.

Cinq ans.

5 años de AMI. Por muchos más. ❤️

Behind the Bikes, 2026
Mixed media on fiberglass, 100 × 150 cm
Behind the Bikes was inspired by the work carried out over the years by AMI – Association Monégasque Ibéro-Américaine, and by the human connections that emerge through its projects between Monaco and Ibero-America.
The painting brings together fragments of everyday life that could be found in many South American streets: people meeting one another, creating ways to work, trade, communicate and begin a new day. Umbrellas, improvised stands and simple objects transform public space into a place of exchange. Materially, these scenes may appear modest, yet they contain something much deeper: relationships, conversation, cooperation and the continuous construction of community.
Within the work, these images are layered with fragments of everyday life in Monaco. The bicycles become a connecting element — a symbol of simple mobility, physical presence and a shared human scale. Beyond economic status or social position, the body moving through the city reminds us of something common: our capacity to encounter one another, to recognize the other and to create connections through empathy.
This is also what I recognize in AMI’s work: the possibility of building bridges through concrete actions, supporting projects that can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives when that support is most needed.
I am honored to donate Behind the Bikes to AMI on 26 September 2026 in Monaco, as a gesture of appreciation for this work and for the human relationships that make it possible. Music: original composition by Juan Callejas. © 2026. All rights reserved.

PERMEABLE FIGURES, 2026
Mixed media on fiberglass mesh
100 × 150 cm
The portrait holds a central place in my work as a way of approaching the human condition. Painting a face is not simply about reproducing its features, but about searching for what may exist beyond appearance — a history, an experience, a particular way of inhabiting the world.
In Permeable Figures, the image emerges through two layers of fiberglass mesh positioned on different planes. The frontal surface is developed with acrylic resins, minerals and iron oxides, allowing transparency, light and material depth to become part of the portrait itself. A second layer behind it introduces chromatic and structural information, transforming the colors and forms perceived through the foreground.
The figure becomes permeable: suspended between presence and disappearance, surface and depth, visibility and what remains beyond it.

Thank you to Kunsthaus Köflach, to everyone who joined us, and to all those who shared this very special moment.

This exhibition was an opportunity to reflect on the strength of the horse — not only as a physical presence, but as a force that has accompanied human history for centuries. A force shaped by movement, trust, dependence, labor, memory, and proximity.

The horse reminds us that beneath the abstractions of the human world, we remain connected to something more elemental: our own animal nature. In that sense, the body of the horse becomes a bridge between culture and instinct, between history and nature, between what we construct and what we inevitably are.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who was part of this encounter.

P.S.: PFERD — Juan Callejas
Heute, 4.
