02/21/2006 — I still remember how excited I was to have three patients scheduled during our very first week open. It felt like such a big moment.
Fast forward 20 years, and here we are. What started as a small dream has grown beyond anything I could have imagined.
I truly have the best team around. They are amazing, dedicated, and the heart of everything we do. I couldn’t have done this without them. Lisa, Jonathan, Kelly, Heather, Amy, Haley, JD, Amie, Bailie, Kathryn, Sarah, Allison and Reah: Thank you! 🫶
My parents and Bette- our biggest cheerleaders and support team from day one. Love y’all!
And to our incredible community — thank you. Your trust and support have allowed us to grow into two locations and continue doing what we love every single day. I will forever be grateful.
Here’s to 20 years of growth, gratitude, and serving the community we care so much about. ❤️

My people!!

There really aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am for them.

I see Christ in each of them, and their love and joy constantly points me back to the cross.

I’m so thankful for the way God uses them to encourage and remind me of His grace.

Abundance of joy found in the living water!!

“Jesus answered, Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Siblings are the keepers of our memories, the guardians of our secrets, and the bearers of our shared history.” - Unknown

Happy birthday on Wednesday to my first best friend (whether you liked it or not) with whom I beared so much shared history. As my little sis, you dealt with a lot - pretend school (where you were never allowed to be the teacher…but I swear it’s why you learned long division before most), amazing yet terrifying(to some) birthday gifts like a King Kong bank (that had to be put away in your closet each night so you could sleep), me practicing for my future as a Broadway singer(kept you awake and yelling for mom to hush me up)…and so much more! I am thankful and forever grateful and beyond blessed to call you my sister, Amie Mowen Kirkby

I love you bunches and bunches and can’t wait to celebrate you!

So, maybe the crown didn't make it to her head, but always a queen in our books! Love you Bryn Kirkby 💙🖤!

Bryn, the interest and willingness to try something you have never done before amidst girls who are so much more familiar with the stage was beyond impressive. These ladies ALL impressed with their bravery, style and grace!

Thank you to all supporters along the way and in the crowd. From ads…to people’s choice…to hair and makeup, gowns…and just the amazing reach-outs from so many family and friends…Bryn felt supported all along the way!

One of the categories that the girls had to present was spirit wear and what spirit of North Lincoln high school means to them. I’m very proud of the message Bryn’s outfit represented. Here’s a glimpse into the summary she submitted:

“The spirit wear, that you will see on me, on many of the girls on this stage, and in the hallways of our school are common in the sense that they showcase our school colors, or the mascot or the name of the school. This is our united North Lincoln high school Knights outward appearance. We rally together# in sporting events, in our clubs, within our friend groups, and within our classes. What sometimes is forgotten is that behind that united front are individuals.

North Lincoln high school offers so many opportunities based on individual interests, and I love that about this school. But to what degree do we get to celebrate each unique person? To what degree, are individuals who may NOT be the star athlete or the A+ student or the college-bound senior actually celebrated?

The pants that I’m wearing today show more than North Lincoln high school patches. They also show music, and arts, club interests, and a focus on the military and trades… instead of just sports, academics and colleges. To me, removing the stigma around what is different and making it OK is truly the spirit of North Lincoln high school!” Special shout out to Summer (beautybysummerm); and Sanctuary Salon for all the hair and makeup! And thank you McKenzie Jades for ALL clothing selections(interview, opening number and evening gown).
