We’ve recently switched up the beans we carry thanks to Lilly’s recommendation. Welcome @amigoroasters !

Wake N Bake brings together coffees from El Salvador, Brazil, and Colombia, creating a comforting, full-flavored cup with low acidity. Expect rich notes of chocolate and hazelnut, rounded out by a touch of dried cherry and a clean, satisfying finish. It’s especially good as espresso and holds up beautifully with milk, but makes an equally delicious cup brewed by filter.

Amigo Coffee Roasters was founded in Los Angeles by Alejandro Balzaretti, whose family has been connected to coffee farming in El Salvador for three or four generations. After moving to Los Angeles, Alejandro found his way into the coffee industry and eventually created Amigo as a bridge between his life in California and his Salvadoran roots.

Based in Venice, Amigo places a particular emphasis on its relationships with coffee-growing communities and on bringing more attention to the exceptional coffees of El Salvador and Latin America. Come try a bag, we love it!

Save this if you are gonna try the healthiest breakfast burrito in San Diego and sent to your brunch date for your plans this weekend 🌞 ☕️

I’ve been dying to go @thebaristabotanist since I’m obsessed their sister restaurants (@bluewhalesd + @salty.horse) ~ they are seed oil free and honestly my top coffees I’ve ever had (they use @amigoroasters beans) ☕️

They use organic @elmhurst1925 milks which makes everything so good including the special, the pistachio matcha

The focaccia bread on the steak salad was some of the best bread I’ve ever tried. It was so fluffy and fresh. And the Greek salad on the side was delicious.

The breakfast burrito was so simple, but the flavor was incredible with a little touch of the sweet potato. The salsa was so good!

My sister is obsessed with the smoothies here as well. My coffee order was iced almond milk latte with cinnamon and a little Hawaiian honey. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since.
