KĀALGAON is heading to Leeds. 🖤
We’re honored to be selected for the Oscar-qualifying Leeds International Film Festival, joining an extraordinary lineup of films from around the world.
This film began with rage at a sickness that runs deep—and the stories of women forgotten too soon. To see it travel, connect with audiences, and carry those voices further means so much to us.
A heartfelt thank you to the Leeds team for welcoming KĀALGAON, and to our cast and crew who gave so much of themselves to bring it to life.
Now hear her.

We shot aerials for a @mercedesbenzusa commercial all over North Georgia. Three of the main locations were @yonahmountainvineyards, @chateau_elan and @dpoffroadpark.

Car commercials are always fun. The precision drivers are always amazing to watch.

These shots turned out well thanks to all the crew involved.

Just came across the teaser for the upcoming folk-horror film Kaalgaon on Instagram, and it is absolutely thrilling! 🎬💀

The teaser gives us two terrifying glimpses. In the first one, a girl investigating missing women gets suddenly kidnapped. In the second, a creepy entity confronts a village woman in the dark, asking, "Is waqt akeli akeli kaha ja rahi hai?"

Just watching these short clips gave me chills! The look and feel of this film are fantastic—they kept it super raw and realistic, making the horror hit so much harder.

🎬 Written & Directed by: Amit Gupta

🎬 Produced by: Kirtana Banskota
