Don’t think I’ll ever know how to reflect on this year so instead, in a continual effort to live in optimism and gratitude, here’s all the things that kept me moving forward. 🌞

- Reading. So much reading (aka forgetting about my own story and immersing myself in other’s)
- Cooking from my cookbook collection, (all gifts from friends who know me best)
- Learning that making myself a priority sometimes looks like pouring my energy and love into others and that’s OK
- Digitizing all the angelic film of Julia dancing in the sunset slide by slide.
- Continuing to do 8 million things but in a town that moves at a glacier pace. What a freakin’ blessing

Teamwork does in fact make the dream work!! And I am so so so grateful for my team ❤️

In the last week and a half my family, my friends that have become family, and my students helped me paint a mural, install art projects, finishing teaching summer school, pack up my classroom, pack up my house, MOVE, set up a new classroom, and start at a new school. Feeling like I am slowly returning to my energetic positive self. Still missing miss Julia everyday, but finding new ways to honor her. 🌈🌻💛

When you live with integrity, you reduce the busy mind and stress of having to remember untruths. You will find yourself without guilt to hold onto from deceiving others, and your mind will be free to focus on happiness and gratitude. 🤍

Just for today, I will do my work honestly. 🤍 ~Reiki principal #4

Might have stayed here forever…
but delighted to go home to California today bc

1. VOTING is tomorrow!

2. i miss my girl. Thank you mama @omidragonfly taking such good care of Ru. (She’s been sick the past few days w/ this gnarly flu that’s been going around - anyone else experience this? @katie_ddavidson had it too, but she’s feeling good now and stoked to teach the Ritual online tonight whilst I ✈️ home. Thanks Katie. What a treat for our online kula!)

3. Awake Heart teacher training! iykyk. I’m just so excited for this year’s incredible cohort to meet for the first time and commence our journey together. My fave time of year. I love my job. Jai Ganesha! (p.s. the training sold out weeks ago, but there is a waitlist at @breathandoneness - just in case 🤗)

4. Did I mention VOTING? Please vote, friends. Midterms are crucial on local, state and national levels. Your vote DOES matter - don’t let anyone convince you otherwise and disempower you. You have the power to make an impact for this beautiful world. Let’s do this! #vote

📷 BAJA☀️🌵🌊

Coming home connected, grounded, sunkissed, and even more in love with love after our Baja Play + Pray retreat (I ADORE THIS CREW + shoutout to my girl @ninaornstein) and the fabulous Bedi wedding
@deepbedi & @vanillandchocolate @acre.wedding. Shout out to my beloved, who loves love, yoga, travel, and humanity as much as me. What a dream. But it’s not a dream. This world is so magnificent and so worth showing up for. So are you.

May our practice, our direct experiences of joy and connection, and our participation in democracy BE FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL BEINGS.

The Flow of Dao is mysterious as it weaves its webs of rippling Qi. It feels like a massive Seed is sprouting… softly.

I am feeling super blessed and honored to be a part of the Path of this amazing place which is just emerging from its chrysalis and spreading its wings to the world. The Soft Medicine Sanctuary is an incredible space Now Open!

Soft Medicine is an elixir lounge, ceremonial tea house, vital foods cafe, yoga, dance and event space. It feels like such an impeccably curated place that makes you feel welcome and right at Home. I knew from the moment that Jordan brought me to Sebastopol for Summer Solstice and we were synchronistically swept into a sneak peek of the space that I would be sharing some of my Gifts here soon.

This Saturday we will be having a day of immersion into Daoist medicine, gathered in this epic nexus of nourishment and embodied Wellness. I am so excited to be offering a four hour Qigong Fundamentals Workshop which dives into the foundations of the theory and practice of this incredible Art and Science.

During our lunch break from 1-3, Buckminster will be serving Daoist GongFu tea service to keep us steeping in the sense of Community and Daoist wisdom. The cafe will be serving up delicious abundance and we can stay immersed in this sacred space together. It’s going to be a super magical day held in a harmonic Qi field of learning and cultivation, celebration and family.

This workshop is for everyone wanting to initiate or deepen their practice of Qi. We will explore this ancient medicine in action, breathing through moving meditation and learning two amazing Daoist Wellness Qigong forms which are both simple and rich with depth.

I am so proud of the team for birthing this vision into being.. thank you, Jonathon, for holding such a strong intention and showing up with such dedicated effort. Thank You, Anna, for working to weave things together so well, and thank you to everyone who has brought energy to the creation of this incredible space. It is a true Treasure to the CommUnity.

See you on Saturday!

This is @amk1446. She's amazingly talented at many things, including yoga and the ukelele. After watching #zoombachelorette, she developed a crush on @pitdesi.

Will Anna be The One for Sheel? 🌹

Each day, we’re going to highlight a new contestant until our 8/8 premiere! #12daysofzoombachelor

THANK YOU to everyone who helped us get to $14,000 in 3 days.

The Zoom Bachelor cast and crew are raising $42,000 for @naacp_ldf.

During the pandemic, the fight to defend civil rights has never been more important. After the recent events, we spent a lot of time looking at where we could have the most fundraising impact. We determined that precedent--and norms--get set in court cases. We decided to back the NAACP’s Legal Defense and Education Fund because it has the reputation of being the top organization pushing for change in this space. Join us in helping the LDF win legal battles, protect voters across the nation, and advance the cause towards an inclusive society.
