POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Now that I’ve been able to personally hand these legends the donations from the fundraiser we did, I want to post about it one last time and thank everyone who helped me accomplish this.

As I’ve said before when talking about the fundraiser, it’s always been important to me to support people from my state, especially when it comes to the arts. These incredible ladies do just that every day, and they show young people in Alabama that it’s okay to dream big. I’ve personally witnessed the amazing talent they have nurtured through the theatre programs they run.

There are so many young, talented people who get to find who they are, express themselves, and eventually go out into the world and share their talents with others because of the opportunities and encouragement provided by these two and everyone around them.

As someone who was born with health issues that prevented me from playing most sports, and who later had the one sport I could play taken away from me, I found that art was something I could turn to instead. Especially in the South, sports are something that is heavily celebrated, and while that’s great, I also think it’s incredibly important to show support for the arts that get overlooked over and over again.

Thank you to everyone who helped out, participated, watched, and donated. I truly couldn’t have done any of this without your help. 🎉💙

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS 🪴

This show was such a incredible journey. I am so thankful for this whole show and all these people who made it happen! The alumni show always holds such a special place in my heart and getting to do it with all of my favorite people makes it 100 times better. Thank you so much @tara.b.knight and @_jacob_morris_ for giving me this opportunity and always pushing me to give it my all. Putting together a show like this in about 2 weeks was such a crazy process but I am so glad it happened and turned out the way it did. Thank you Little Shop of Horrors ❤️
