MY VERY GOOD GIRL, EMILY passed this afternoon. This is soooo hard, and it was not expected today. I'm so glad she held on until my son, Steve, arrived. She was crazy for him! She's not suffering anymore, the entire veterinary staff worked hard to help her. (No better staff than that of Animal Medical Center of Corona). And I'm certain she's with her partner, Jack, chasing those pesky opossums and feeling no pain. My heart is broken, but she is free💔

SAYING GOODBYE...
is so hard. This is Olive, her story is heartbreaking...except for the past 2 and a half months. Last June she was dumped in San Bernardino, CA, and had acid poured on her hind quarters. Animal Services picked her up, a rescue took possession of her on the same day my Jack passed away on June 13th. I was meant to be her human. There were several health issues I was unaware of when she joined my family. (I was looking for a playmate for my remaining dog, which Olive could never be). I took her to my vet, she was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea, congestive heart failure, damaged spinal disk, she was blind and deaf. It was suggested she was probably used for breeding her entire 9 yr life, was dumped bc she had outlived her usefulness. I was proud to be her human for these few weeks, I fell in love with her...it was hard to let her go but I'd like to believe that now she can hear, see, breathe, and is looking for my Jack. I just felt she deserved this tribute, and her abusers will be judged eventually. SWIPE LEFT , more pics of my sweet girl.

FINAL POTLUCK💔
A few weeks ago I posted about the loss of a dearest friend. Yesterday was the celebration of her life that we planned for her friends...and some of her family. Sue Striplin was her name and she loved potlucks...and Christmas. We donned our Christmas sweaters and, along with 70 folks, had a wonderful potluck in her memory. She was a member of a "Red Hats" group in Riverside. They showed up in full regalia...looking very royal indeed. The lady sitted in the middle of this group of beauties is Sue's 99 year old mother, Geri. Without her, we would never have had wonderful Sue in our lives. Thank you Geri💕...we'll never forget Sue.💔 RIP

SUE STRIPLIN
4/16/'47-10/29/'22
My sweet, dear friend, Sue, lost her battle with Dementia in the wee hours of Saturday morning. She was loved by many people, I was lucky to have been loved by her. She has left behind her mother, a husband of more than 53 yrs, a son, daughter, many grands and great grandchildren. Many friends... She is the only person I have known (for decades) that I NEVER heard complain about anyone nor anything. She was a jewel of a friend. I will miss her so. She suffers no more. 🙏 💔
SWIPE LEFT & smile for she is free.
