Some post-event fragments from 4.24 at @neoillusion2023 takeover @byyb.radio 🪴

This mixtape was an attempt at a more restrained and inward narrative structure, unfolding slowly between tension and imbalance. It opens with Musica Ricercata II from the masked ritual scene in Eyes Wide Shut by Stanley Kubrick — the sense of unease wrapped within order became one of the starting points for the mix.

One last night below the surface.

Soon, it will be a wrap on another season of Bassment, the boundary-pushing electronic and experimental music series at Bozar. Over the past months, international and local artists shook the foundations of Bozar with live performances, immersive visuals and nights built for discovery, intensity and connection.

From raw club energy to audiovisual experiments, each edition transformed the recently refurbished Terarken Hall into a space where sound and image collide. And now, one final descent before the season closes.

On May 22nd, offcircuit will deliver an uncompromising live performance driven by industrial textures and cutting vocals. Then, Jokkoo Collective will explore diasporic narratives through an immersive audiovisual performance combining analogue and digital mediums.

Let’s meet in the Bassment @offcircuit.band and @jokkoo.collective ⚡

Find info and tickets on Bozar.be
