We tried @amomanchester by Salvi’s at Deansgate Mews and basically ordered half the menu 😂 We had the lasagna, pink pasta, calzone and baked aubergine and honestly, this is the kind of Italian food where you just keep saying “try this” to each other across the table. 😂 Then obviously we had to do dessert… tiramisu AND cannoli. But the surprise for me was their Caffè Crema frozen coffee. If you love coffee, please try that. ☕️🤌 AMÒ actually highlights its Caffè Crema as one of its specialties. The place itself is really relaxed and casual, tucked away at Deansgate Mews, 253 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4EN. It’s from the family behind Salvi’s, but AMÒ is their newer, more modern take on it. Definitely one to save if you’re looking for Italian food in Manchester, fresh pasta, Manchester restaurants, coffee spots or somewhere for a casual date night. What would you order first? 👇 #manchesterfood #manchesterfoodies #italianfood #manchesterrestaurants #manchestereats

It’s officially “have you got an Oasis code?” week. 👀 Which means those of us who are lucky enough to get one are about to voluntarily put ourselves through the pain of Ticketmaster queues once again… We’ve also got the Manchester weather to contend with… jumpers? T-shirts? Coats? Who knows at this point… Here’s a quick round-up of what else is happening here in Manchester right now 👉 . . .

If you’re the type of person who stares at online menus for three days before going out, this newly opened spot on Deansgate Mews is about to throw your routine out the window 🍝 After 16 years of feeding Manchester, the iconic Salvi’s has introduced @amomanchester - a fresh, modern bar and restaurant, where you won’t have a clue what’s on the menu until you turn up. There is no set menu here. The team makes fresh pasta daily, and whatever is cooking on the stove that morning is what you’re getting. One day it’s a rich, slow-cooked Neapolitan ragù, the next it’s a total surprise. And once it’s gone, it’s gone. It’s been open a few weeks now and is already fast becoming Deansgate Mews’ worst-kept secret. Pop up the stairs and see what’s cooking today. 📍 AMÒ, Deansgate Mews, Manchester ⏰ Open daily from 12pm Tag a friend who can never decide what to order 👇

The @sartispritz might be my new favourite drink 🍹 Last week I visited @amomanchester for a delightful dinner out and had the best evening with @thisgallikesmcr 💕 Lunch spot day and wine bar vibes at night - the pasta was sensational, the truffle fries a must-buy and the spritz’ were 2 for £10 😱 If you haven’t visited this Deansgate spot yet, add it to your list! #manchester #manchesterfood #deansgate

New to the city: Amò by Salvi’s Now open on Deansgate Mews, Amò is a brand-new concept by Salvi’s, bringing Italian drinking, dining and deli culture to the city. Think £10 lunch deals, two spritzes for £10, Italian deli favourites and their frozen caffe crema for something a little sweeter. Led by Sienna, the next generation of the Salvi’s family, it’s the kind of place made for easy lunches, sunny terrace drinks and a quick stop that turns into something a little longer. Lunch, aperitivo, a little shopping in between. We know where we’re heading. Location: @deansgatemews @gnwmanchester Hours: 12pm ‘til late, 7 days a week

I would return for the truffle fries alone (from a certified potato hater) Last night we tried @amomanchester, Manchester newest Italian, which has just opened on Deansgate Mews!! From the owners of Salvi’s🇮🇹 To start we had the calamari, whitebait and prawns, and the caprese salad which were both delishhh! Tell me pls, who is saying no to 2 for £10 aperol spritz?? (clearly not me) for a salt loverrr this pasta was soooo good, olives, capers yum yum this was a lil bit different, an Italian take on a classic burger with tomato meatballs in a pizza dough bun you can also buy bits too!! there was a good selection of honey (I had my eye on) now these, fresh, crispy, coasted in just the perfect amount of truffle oil … this is where it gets good, ok dessert we had the tiramisu & affogato, I think the quality of the ingredients is what really stood out here, the coffee was amazing !!! 10/10 would return
