✨ Celebrate Happy Cavalcade ✨ After being a part of opening rehearsals last year, I was so excited to open a new product in the parks…but life took me on an unexpected detour for 5 months after fracturing my wrist. I was lucky enough be a part of this show again when it returned earlier this year right after the holidays~ This cavalcade holds a special place in my heart because of the many major transitions that happened throughout its run. A bit sappy but it truly feels like a certain chapter of my life has officially closed alongside it. I’m sad to see it go and I’ll miss it, but forever grateful for all the memories and fellow cast mates that I’ve had the privilege to zoot zoot zoo down Main Street with 🎶 Thank you to all our photographer friends for always capturing the magic through your lenses and cheering us on! Goodbye to rainbow tutus, uneven sweatbands, blue painted shoes, pink face stains, and bad tan lines. Dancer #8 signing off 🩷💚💙

8 years went by so fast. Although I am still around the resort for a little bit longer, I have already had my last performance on the parade route. I’ve told this story in all of my Traditions classes - after auditioning for about eight years, often making it to the very end and not getting cast, I was starting to think I was not cut out to be a dancer at Disneyland. After another open call in 2017, I was very excited to get an email offer for Pixar Play Parade. Upon opening the email, I got a little less excited, because it was for Heimlich Head. I was hesitant to accept, but I was finally given an opportunity to join Parades, so I accepted the offer in hopes that maybe I would get to dance soon after. I’m very glad I took that chance, because it opened the door to so many wonderful opportunities: being in the closing cast for some offerings, opening cast for new offerings, bringing back classic offerings, being a Standby performer, and so many more. I consider myself extremely lucky that I was a part of the Parades legacy, and I will miss it so much. Most of all, I will miss performing for our Guests. I am very grateful to have gotten to know many of them, and receive their encouragement and support. Extra special shout out to the photographers and videographers who dedicated so much of their time and talents to capture so many wonderful moments that I will look back on and cherish forever. I honestly could’ve been a Parade performer until my body gave out, but the Universe made space for a new adventure to begin. Thank you Parades for making a little boy’s dreams come true.
