Thank you for joining us for our very first midweek jam - turns out Thursdays can be pretty darn fun 🌞🎶

For those of y’all who were lucky enough to be there right from the start, how incredible is Clementi Soul Unit?! 🔥 Our ears were blessed. What a way to kick things off!

And of course, thank you to everyone who came by to jam, sing, dance, clap, or just hang with us. The maracas were a highlight!

We love seeing Ann Siang Sounds pop up in new spaces and bringing the music to wherever you are 💛 Speaking of new spaces... SEE YOU THIS SATURDAY!

Oh man, it's already time for a new recap

Slide 2 & 3 - I'm back in the busking world!! After a month of being inactive, I've dedicated myself to play at least once a week. Gotta make full use of my time before I become government property 🫩. I've figured out a few good spots I'll be frequenting in the coming months so stay tuned! Super happy to see friends come and hang too :)

Slide 4 - @drinkswithice invited me to @theiola.space for a dance event but end up I dance more than him 🤔

Slide 5 & 6 - @annsiangsounds at SCCC. I felt very Chinese that day. Thank you @amosamarth for taking such fire photos, the pics are so high def it looks like AI sia. I would call you AmosGPT but I worry that'll summon another Amos

Slide 7 - Goofy cover of Poetry In Motion I did during practice. Damnit does this recording sound good when played in 2x, I've replayed it so many times. The goofy artifacts in my voice add to the charm of the song 😭

Slide 8 - @offtherecordjam!! First time bringing my Melodica out to play and I had soo much fun being apart of the Horn section. So much to learn from the handsome @johanovic and @le._.bon. Might actually start incorporating Melodica into my main toolkit; someone call me for Melodica gigs pls 🔥. Shoutout to @winchicky for the trust in letting me help serve the music also 🫶🏻

Slide 9 & 10 - @halalprotocol went to support @vincentlowfh!! Also met a few super sweet musician folks that we ended up jamming with. The pic we took has too nice of a background to not post lah

Slide 11 - Mini announcement that Halal Protocol will be playing @ourtampineshub on 22nd July :), 7pm!! Come thru Feetlickra

I love candid photography, the shit you get is authentic and true to the moment. Which is why some of my friends hate me when I take out my camera, all the unglams that they foresee hahahhaha

in case you missed out. silence is an ep which was recorded and filmed live at sunroom studios. the full 16 minute video is available on youtube. and the ep itself is out on bandcamp. link is in the bio.

we wanna thank joshua & yang for being super patient and helping us put the record together. and amos for his incredible insulin shots. we also wanna thank you the listeners. the supporters. as well as the silent ones. we appreciate your presence too.

before we set off into the sunset. with everything thats happening on the planet right now. lets try to be better to each other. online and offline. dont suffer in silence. this nightmare will be over soon.

until next time.

In the night. I will yearn. What you want you deserve. At the point of no return. In the fire we will burn. 🔥

theres something about darkness. when the fun truly begins. when the night people come out to play. playing in the dark. but solitude also lives there. and silence feels like a roar.
