Happy Birthday to my brother @ngo_journey and @brickz_legacy . Your hard work does not go unnoticed as you’ve done so much for the @oakridge_neighborhood and have had nothing but a positive impact on the community. Just an example of some of the kids you’ve helped provide opportunities for that they may not get otherwise. Just one example; bringing 14 kids to their first @nba game when most of these kids have never left the city of Des Moines since families came in as refugees. Continue to be a blessing and keep impacting the youth and building lights for the kingdom. Matthew 5:16 🙏🏾🤞🏾💯

This weekends activities along with some memories. Peace and resilience to my young bols that graduated. Live is beautiful. I pray we are not restricted by what we believe is the truth and my hope is that we know the truth and who you are in that truth and walk in it. Boldly. 🤲🏾🌱

Huge shoutout and thank you to our CEO @mihmherold & @theashleyprine for stopping by to help me introduce week 8 of our employability DMACC course.
We really appreciate you both helping us with a couple mock interviews, dropping some gems, and giving some great feedback on interview do’s and don’ts to help us secure these jobs‼️

While I’m at it… s/o to @_alpacapacks for another dope care package!!! The supplies are always useful and needed..
Thank you all!!!

I have nets hanging on my dream board at the crib. Cutting the net is a celebration of gratitude of the accomplishments and milestones reached. The net itself is cool to have as a memory of all the time, effort, and sacrifice we have all given to get where we wanted to be. Some ask questions as to why we do what we do. We celebrate wins, small and big. At least for 24 hours. And then it’s right back to the grind. The energy you carry while you’re moving towards your goals is the same energy you will have when you attain that goal. Be mindful of that and decide how you want to feel when you get there. And then feel it, imagine it, dream of it. And then put the work in. Cause it’s yours. And what’s for you no one can take away. Only you.
