The crown is historic. The story behind it is unforgettable. 👑✨

This Saturday, we are sitting down with Jacky Crawford (@amourfina )—the newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines UK and the first married woman and mother to hold the title.

While the world saw a boundary-breaking victory on stage, few knew the quiet resilience happening off-stage. Behind her historic win was a woman serving as a primary caregiver for her parents through their cancer battles, holding space for family, motherhood, and a vision far bigger than traditional standards allowed.

This isn’t just a interview about pageantry. It’s a masterclass in staying soft through life’s hardest seasons while keeping the sharp focus required to claim your seat at the table.

🗓 WHEN: Saturday at 4 PM UK Time
📍 WHERE: Live right here on @softheart.sharpmind IG

Drop a 🤍 in the comments if you’ll be tuning in, and leave your questions for Jacky below!

What is a beauty pageant like? Here’re some private moments off the stage:

- Prayers before starting the pageant, showing that togetherness and that God is first, the experience is about giving our best, reminding our purpose and our experience together which lasts longer than a crown. 👑
- Posing practise - when you go on stage, you want to be sure you know how to use every spot and moment to perform your style, with poise, so practise all the time!
- Eating pancakes w/ @alexanderstagg getting in some carbs for the pump 😄
- But also eating so you have the capacity to perform and answer questions because you need the energy!!! 😭
- Make up by @bbrentbbernard which was completely a voluntary help from him, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to do it as well myself 😅😮‍💨 thank you!
- Physical and mental warm up using journaling to gather thoughts and put my head in order! It’s also very calming, just to drown out the noise.
- Practise walking into a room for the private Q&A. Not always a must but wanted to exemplify a winner from the get-go. Also good to simply be yourself & prepare!
- I was practising my intro for the pageant, which was so important to make a lasting first impression to the crowd 💪🏼!
- Naps saved my life 😂 when you’re juggling 100 things, get some sleep in and recover.
- @shainasoliven showing us that being a pageant queen is also about showing values and helping others. Thank you for helping me suit up for my national costume 😄

- Note to self: Find Mum first after the show. Give her a kiss for encouraging and supporting!

- Visiting Dad at work to show him I won the crown. 👑 in our family, we celebrate big and small wins, never forget where you come from. So I wanted to go to the hotel where my dad works to share this moment with him.

2025 meets 2026!! 🏆💫🇵🇭

It was such a lovely experience meeting the wonderful and talented candidates who competed this year. Being in their position last year, i have felt the nerves and excitement get to me throughout this journey, and it was a privilege to see their hard work pay off! Behind their smiles and pasarela walks, there have been countless hours of practice, preparation and determination up to this day. Everyone slayed and I hope they all take a moment to feel pride and proudness in themselves🥹 you guys are truly inspiring!!!
