Yesterday didn’t turn out the way any of us expected, but my heart is so full anyway. I’m so grateful I got to spend the day with Patrick Stone (@ptrix23) from HAIRBALL (@hairballonline) at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds (@redrivervalleyfair), along with my friend Allie (@allie_declusin), Emma (@emmy.2196), one of Patrick’s biggest fans, and Emma’s dad. It was also wonderful seeing Cal and his family again. Watching Cal (@ampeddistortion), one of the incredible Make-A-Wish kids I met last year, absolutely shred onstage with Hairball’s lead guitarist, Happy (@happy_hairball), during soundcheck was such a proud, full-circle moment.

Even though the show was canceled after soundcheck because of the heavy rain, the time we shared made the day unforgettable. Patrick, thank you always for your kindness, for making us all feel so welcome, and for the thoughtful gift of the two books about my favorite band, Siouxsie and the Banshees (@siouxsieandthebanshees).It meant more than you know. I’m so thankful for the memories we made and can’t wait to do it again.

Huge thanks to @ptrix23 for inviting me to hang out with @hairballonline yesterday! 🤘

Getting to be at soundcheck and spend time with everyone was so much fun. Even though the big show got canceled because of the thunderstorms, it was still an awesome day.

Being around the Hairball guys is honestly my “Happy” place (see what I did there, @happy_hairball ? 😆). You guys always make me feel welcome, and I learn so much every time I get to hang out with you all.

@ptrix23 , I really look up to you and think of you like my musical big brother. Thanks for letting me be part of such a cool day. I can’t wait until we get to rock together again! 🎸❤️

Yesterday I finally got to watch Hamilton! It was amazing!!! I've been listening to the music for months now, and watching it on Disney+ made me love it even more. I held a watch party with some family and friends.

Sweet memories. We love designing sweet tables, using our platters, greens, and styling them. This was one naked cake that was moist and yummy.
