For Amaka’s maiden look, we borrowed from the classic Isiagu palette — black, red and gold — without the Isiagu fabric itself. At the heart of the design: patience. An hourglass motif, inspired by a value Amaka holds deeply and a nod to her mother’s name, was translated into the intricate beading pattern of the dress. Strong lines. Rich detailing. Her Mirror Moment 🪞🎀 Honestly, Her Mirror Moment was such a beautiful experience. 🥹🤍 On the 31st of August,I attended Her Mirror Moment, hosted by @amplified_mua and I loved how it wasn’t just about looking good on the outside. There were so many conversations around identity, self-discovery, confidence and learning to embrace yourself🥹🫂.. We also got to learn some makeup skills, which was honestly such a fun part of the experience because who doesn’t love learning how to beat their face a little better🤭💄???? But beyond the makeup, the conversations really made me reflect. Sometimes we get so caught up in trying to become better, prettier, smarter, more successful and everything in between that we forget to actually appreciate who we are right now.. One thing that really stayed with me was the reminder to run to God and know Him for yourself because as much as we're learning who we are, we also have to remember that we are nothing outside Him. We need to know what He says about us and understand what He would have us do as His children. I think that’s something I’m taking with me,learning to embrace who I am while allowing God to shape me into who He has called me to be🥰. Good conversations, beautiful women, makeup lessons, lots of laughs and definitely a lot to take home🥹🤭... A little mirror moment of my own because sometimes, the real reflection goes way deeper than what you see in the mirror 🪞❤️.....
