🏌️‍♂️⛳️ Taking a swing at capturing the perfect drive! 🎤

We had a blast supporting the Longest Drive hole at the Amplio Worship Classic!

Armed with a Sennheiser MKH 8060 and Neumann KMR 82 shotgun microphones, we captured the sound of golfers teeing off, giving players a chance to hear their biggest drives played back in all their glory!

Because nothing sounds quite like a drive hit right down the fairway. 🔊💥

Thanks to @Amplio for letting us bring a little audio magic to the course!

Spent a few days in Chicago learning and growing as a Tech Director, worshipping alongside friends, then came home and filmed our podcast with some new @ampliosystems merch! Here’s a sneak peek at this weekend’s episode 👀

Red Komodo X

Towards the end of 2025, @skylinechurch production underwent a major video overhaul with @ampliosystems

I had an idea: the best addition to our arsenal of @reddigitalcinema handhelds would be this 3D printed pen holder I found on @makerworld_official @bambulab_official

Follow me for more church production ideas 🎥

Spent the last couple days with the Creative Team at @filocommunity and I’m leaving incredibly grateful for this team and the investment FILO made in us.

During one of our sessions we read through 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 and it was such a good reminder of why we do what we do. Being on a team that lives mostly behind the scenes and in the details, a lot of the work goes unseen, but what’s unseen is eternal.

I wouldn’t want any other team to do it alongside.

Lastly, so thankful for the @ampliosystems team for investing in us, and for @echoes.church leadership for their trust, belief, and support of this team.

📸 Church Production Camera Roll 📸

A very condensed version of my camera roll as the production events manager @skylinechurch

Some of my favorites include:
•the student center upgrades project
•foh cabling
•the live feed tests on Resi snapshots
•candid of me & my son
•the ever popular ‘found that cable!’
•test patterns
•dudes on lifts
•the major @thoravus led wall overhaul with @ampliosystems
•”truss me, just spray paint it black”
•and how can I forget to highlight the chandelier build for our Christmas Services

Shoutout to my production team! Might be some funny memories and inside jokes, but at the end of the day, we build the environment for those to encounter Jesus 🙌🏻

Next week begins the wildest ride of the church production community! Four events, two states, nine days. If anyone comes to all four, (and it’s not part of your job) I will give you a free copy of my book, a ChurchGear swag pack, and a date with Blake.
