Happy 32nd birthday Maria, and happy 1st birthday Chromosome of Happiness 💙💙💛

Today marks one year since we started Chromosome of Happiness. Today reminds us of Maria's birthday, Maria is the main reason we started all of this. Last year our gift to her heavenly soul was starting Chromosome of Happiness and this year our gift is this video.

We are spreading the happiness that one little extra chromosome brings into the lives of everyone who is lucky enough to deal with Down Syndrome. It's been a happy year for sure!

We are growing our community, we launched our first product, we hosted our first event and still many surprises coming your way. Most importantly, we are drawing smiles on many faces and this is what we do. We are happiness and we will make everyone know about the beauty of Down Syndrome and want to be part of the journey.

We are grateful for all our supporters and believers. We are always moving forward with your love, help and support.

We are super excited for our second year and can't wait to see where we are all going to be next year.

إنهردة أول عيد ميلاد لكروموسوم السعادة. وإنهردة ماريا تمت ٣٢ سنة. 💙💙💛

بقالنا سنة من أول من ما ابتدينا كروموسوم السعادة وإنهردة بيفكرنا بعيد ميلاد ماريا الله يرحم روحها الحلوة وهي السبب الرئيسي اننا ابتدينا. السنة الفاتت كانت هديتنا ليها اننا نبتدي والسنة دي هديتنا الفيديو دا.

كانت سنة سعيدة أكيد . احنا بنكبر المجتمع بتاعنا، وعملنا أول منتج لينا، وعملنا أول افنت لينا ولسة فيه حاجات كتيرة جاية في الطريق. وأهم حاجة، احنا بنرسم الضحكة على وشوش كتيرة و دا إلي احنا بنعمله. احنا السعادة واحنا هنخلي كل الناس تعرف حلاوة وجمال متلازمة الداون ويبقو عايزين يبقو جزء من الرحلة.

احنا بنشكر كل مشجعين لينا و إلي صدقو فينا من أول يوم. لولا حبكم و مساعدتكم و تشجيعجكم حاجات كتيرة مكنتش هتحصل.

In efforts of kick-starting our initiative and simulating what we intend to do in Film My Design, we've invited 5 Egyptian designers and filmmakers to collaborate to tell 5 different design stories. The collaboration was exquisitely captured by @flinkstudios, who worked closely with the Film My Design team to produce FMD’s first design-film documentary. The film was premiered at the FMD launch event in 2018, which was FMD's first public activation and was very well received by 150 attendees of designers, filmmakers and creative enthusiasts.
