Naast hun betrokkenheid bij de KNSRB biedt Kiwa studenten volop kansen om zich verder te ontwikkelen via stages, afstudeeropdrachten én startersfuncties.

🏆 BRITANNIA CHALLENGE CUP 🏆

This summer we made history at Henley Royal Regatta: the first time a Dutch general rowing association has won a club event on the Thames.

The four: Dolf Rutten, Wessel Hesselink, Pieter Dikken and Niels Boonstra, coxed by Julia Groenveld.

On Saturday 26 September we’re honouring them at our own regatta, the Amstelbeker. And we’re celebrating Richelle Rietdijk’s silver with the women’s eight at World Cup II in Seville 🥈

Ceremony: during the first ship break, between 14.30 and 15:00. Come by, cheer them on and have a drink with us.

Sinds 2011 is de Amstelbeker hét podium voor het Nederlandse verenigingsroeien. Als oud-deelnemer (roeier, stuur of coach) heb jij geschiedenis geschreven op het water. Nu is het tijd voor de volgende stap: de oprichting van de Amstelbeker Wedstrijd Vereniging (AWV)! We nodigen je uit om lid te worden van de AWV. Blijf verbonden met je oude rivalen en ploeggenoten, denk mee over de toekomst van de wedstrijd en steun de nieuwe generatie verenigingsroeiers. 📅 Meld je aan vóór 30 augustus 2026 en kom ook naar de allereerste oprichtings-ALV + borrel op 6 september 2026 bij K.A.R. & Z.V. ‘De Hoop’.

👑 Over the weekend we defended our titles at the @amstelbeker against the strongest crews The Netherlands had to offer.

The women retained the Fortuna Cup with 6 races over 5 hours, cruising through the club event to meet Nereus in the super-final. Despite their efforts Nereus could not make up the gap, and London won by 1/3 length. The men retained the Palmbeker through tough racing against Willem III and De Hoop to reach the super final against Nereus, snatching the win on the line by 0.1s in a nail-biting end to the day’s racing.

A huge thank you to @k.a.r.z.v.dehoop for hosting us, some close racing, and great hospitality 🤝
