My most rewarding trip this summer 🫶🏽🇳🇮

The best opportunity to volunteer, immerse myself in a new culture, and push myself outside of my comfort zone. I came home with so much gratitude, a fuller heart, and a whole lot of memories I’ll cherish forever. 💫

Si es contigo mejor

Thank You, God, for this life-changing experience. Your presence was undeniable in every conversation, every interaction, and every act of kindness. You revealed Yourself not only in the beauty of the places I visited but also in the people I met, the joy they carried, and the love they shared so freely.

This trip reminded me that some of the most meaningful experiences come from slowing down, serving others, and learning from people whose way of life is so different from my own. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone I’ve met, the friendships that were formed, and the perspective I’ve carried home with me.

Safe to say, GIVE delivered another banger 🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷

Besides hosting 5% of the worlds biodiversity and the beautiful beaches, Costa Rica is really a country of protecting the land and building a strong community. In the small town of Gandoka, I felt this a lot. While the locals may not be the richest in material possessions, they are rich in family, joy, and connections with nature. Gandoka taught me that life is not always about being productive and instant gratification, but connections with people and the environment around us. It also made me more grateful for all the conveniences I have at home. Sometimes, its okay to slow down and take it all in. Pura vida!

This experience has been hands down the most life altering thing i’ve ever done, i cannot thank every single person i met enough for just being the greatest people. I’ve taken back a piece of everyone i’ve met and miss everyone dearly. These experiences taught me so much and i can’t be more grateful to @givevolunteers for making it happen, from teaching, planting mangroves, painting houses, hiking volcanos, and to doing good vibes every night these experiences impacted me in a way nothing else could. te amo mucho Nicaragua❤️
