‘reverie/riposte’ by @amy_______elizabeth @amyjohnson___

‘“reverie/riposte” is eclectic, versatile, and personal, inspired by nineteenth-century France and impressionist painter Gustave Caillebotte. It bridges everyday reality with historical influences, focusing on comfortable silhouettes and unique ensembles. The collection aims to elevate everyday styles with artistic and historical elements, emphasising adaptability and personal identity in womenswear.’

With growing awareness around sustainability and the environment in recent years, fashion has been at the forefront of the conversation.

TOMORROW 02 NOVEMBER, more than 40 QUT students and over 160 sustainably made designs will be showcased and available to purchase in an exclusive pop-up shop @capsule__collective in Queen St Mall, Meanjin (Brisbane)

Inspired by the Australian Fashion Council’s Seamless Product Stewardship Scheme, each student considered the lifecycle of their collections and implemented sustainable design strategies within their process.
