Casa Hunab Ku — Aldea Zamá, Tulum. A home shaped by courtyards, water and quiet transitions. With 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and approximately 458 m² / 4,930 sq. ft. of construction, Hunab Ku is designed around the relationship between indoors and out. Landscaped patios, natural light and two swimming pools create distinct moments throughout the villa. One more social, one more private. Set in Aldea Zamá, the residence feels architectural without trying too hard: warm materials, generous proportions and spaces that invite you to slow down. Casa Hunab Ku 5 Bedrooms · 6 Bathrooms · 458 m² $1,195,000 USD For details or a private viewing, DM Engel & Völkers Tulum. #CasaHunabKu #TulumRealEstate #AldeaZama #TulumLuxuryRealEstate #TulumHomes

Buying real estate in Tulum? The purchase price is only part of the equation. Between making an offer and becoming an owner, there’s a financial decision many international buyers overlook. How you move your money into Mexico. Whether you’re purchasing a beachfront villa in Tulum, a residence in Playa del Carmen, or a second home in the Riviera Maya, currency exchange can influence your final acquisition cost. And the difference isn’t always obvious. What should international buyers consider before transferring funds to Mexico? Three things deserve attention: 01 — Exchange rates. The difference between the market rate and the rate offered by your financial institution can affect your purchasing power. 02 — International transfer costs. Bank charges, intermediary fees, and delivery timelines should be understood before funds are committed. 03 — Transaction coordination. Your exchange provider, bank, legal counsel, and closing parties should have consistent, verified payment instructions. For buyers transferring USD or CAD into Mexico, comparing the total amount received—not simply the advertised exchange rate—can reveal meaningful differences. At Engel & Völkers Tulum, I believe international real estate advisory should extend beyond finding the right property. It should help buyers ask the right questions before making consequential financial decisions. Because the property you choose matters. So does the way you acquire it. Why does Tulum need a higher standard? Because as the market matures, buyers are looking for more than beautiful properties. They are looking for clarity, due diligence, local knowledge and advisors they can trust. Engel & Völkers began in Hamburg in 1977 and has grown into a global real estate network present in more than 35 countries. But the principles behind the brand remain the same: competence, exclusivity and passion. In Tulum, those values take on a very practical meaning. Understanding the market. Verifying projects and documentation. Working with trained advisors. Connecting local opportunities with an international network of buyers. Luxury real estate is not only about what you sell. It is also about how you advise. For buyers, sellers and developers navigating the Tulum real estate market, that standard matters more than ever. Engel & Völkers Tulum Global reach. Local knowledge. A higher standard. DM our team to buy, sell or list property in Tulum.

Where should your money go next? A first home. A growing family. A retirement with more freedom. The answer starts with the life you want your money to support. On September 24, Editorial Living Group welcomed Senior Financial Advisor Christian Dy to Engel & Völkers Yaletown for a conversation about real estate and financial markets. We explored the choices behind a first purchase, keeping a home as a rental, and releasing equity for the next chapter. These are the questions worth taking into your next conversation: How much cash do you need available? What can you comfortably carry each month? How long can you leave your money invested? What would a move make possible for your life? For buyers and sellers moving within the same market, look at both sides of the transaction. Your next purchase matters as much as your sale price. Save this for your next money conversation, or DM us to request the event recording. Chosen with intention. #editoriallivinggroup #vancouverrealestate #engelvolkers #yaletown #investingadvice

We’re excited to bring the series back, beginning with a new episode filmed today featuring our client and dear friend, John Reid @johnreid_ @faberapp. Beyond the garments, it’s always been about the people, the relationships we build, and the stories worth sharing. Here’s to more meaningful conversations and the people behind them. #SARAI #SpotlightBySarai #Lifestyle #Interview #beyourownstyleicon
