🐶 BUCKEE NEEDS A HERO 🐾

This 3-year-old pittie/Beagle mix has the biggest heart in a small 44-lb body. Buckee is happy, loving, and adorable — but he’s been at the Contra Costa Animal Shelter in Martinez, CA since May 26th, waiting for someone to see his light. 💔

Because of all he’s been through, Buckee has separation anxiety — but with a patient, loving home, he’ll learn to trust again. He just needs someone to believe in him. 💕

He’s available for general adoption and transportation can be arranged!

📍 Visit him:
🕙 Sat: 10am – 5pm
🕒 Sun: 10am – 1pm
Contra Costa Animal Shelter, Martinez, CA

Don’t let this be the end of Buckee’s story.
Let it be the beginning of yours — together. 🦴❤️

👇 Tag, share, or reach out to meet him!

Well, I'll be a Monkey's Uncle!🤣🤘💯
Just pushing a shopping cart back to its cage and who do I spy with my little eye..YEP, my Freshman Year Homecoming date from San Ramon High, the ever so loveable, kind hearted, hilariously beautiful @hninekirk. Naturally, I loudly belted out her name! We hugged, laughed & reminisced of yesteryear moments sublime
What a blessing to be able to present for the gift of lifelong friendships on HIS timeline🙏❤️🙏

“Winter Bones….” First light of the first day of 2024, outside my window…. I love seeing this tree each morning, watching it, morph and grow as we pass through the months, seasons, year after year….🙏🏻💜. So, here we go again! Another 365 revolutions around the sun. Did you write your resolutions, your intentions for 2024? I did. I like to put them in an envelope in the freezer, (something about the freezer? Like, a deep freeze incubation..? ) Then, look at them at the end of the year and see how I did. Overall, I did pretty good last year… I accomplished, or rather, am accomplishing the big changes I set out to do! 🙏🏻💜🌟 wishing for everyone, an exciting new beginning to your lives, full of possibility and adventures, new experiences, and all the love joy and contentment you want and deserve!!! ✨🌟✨🌟✨🌟✨💝🥳🤗

To Tyson & Robbie,
It took only 9 days to sell your house and well, things got real.
You are moving to Texas and it seems so fast and even though I am so excited for you, I would much rather keep you here knowing I have two rocks so close, two friends that will never change.
The older I get, the more I appreciate true friendships. I will miss you.
It’s time for new beginnings with your beautiful family… your most wonderful children!!
and I just wanna say you guys are the greatest parents! 🙏
How fortunate your new friends in Texas will be!
They will be better because you will inspire them to be. I am better when I do life with you, and they will be, too. They are so lucky.
My memories with you are the BEST kind.
You were there in the valley.
I can’t wait to hear about how you got lost trying to find the grocery store and favorite place to eat filet mignon!!
(I know Texas has the best, believe me!) 🥇
And, the names of the people you are meeting and who they remind you of. I can’t wait to visit you and meet them all.
Lots of Prayers for your beautiful family in your new home & Life!!
Love, Lana
