Your senior captain signing out ✨🪩💙 TJY for trusting me with this team, I pray I made a impact not only as a leader but by being an ambassador of Christ🥹🥹 “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭

As my time at MC is coming to a close, I want to reflect on the last couple of years.

When I decided to attend Midland College, I had no idea what I was in for. I saw it as the stereotypical community college and was kinda bummed that I wasn’t going straight to university. But now I see why God led me down this path. Midland College has provided me with so many resources and opportunities I didn’t even know existed. From Legacy Scholars fully funding my tuition and even offering me a transfer scholarship, to Phi Theta Kappa sending me to conferences, where I got to network with so many students, and just learn to grow as an individual. I had the opportunity to be apart of the All-Texas Academic Team, the opportunity to work with organizations like Reflection Ministries to bring awareness to human trafficking in the Permian Basin, and have even been given the opportunity to help provide resources to First Generation Students. I’ve also been able to work with my professors one-on-one to think deeper about my studies for the Honors Program. And finally, I have made friendships that will last a lifetime!

Midland College has been such a blessing to me the past two years; I’m so grateful I followed God’s path for my life, instead of choosing my own, because His is so much better!!

I pray that wherever God is opening doors for you, that you would follow Him and trust His plans and purpose for your life!

Onto the next chapter- ASU Nursing!
