Last weekend I refreshed my #Firearm Skills after 2+ years, bringing my current training to a combined 9 days across 3 companies. This time I was trained by @_trinityfox1 via @rollingacademyworkshops. Thanks to the whole Trinity team for a truly educational, exciting and intense couple of days! This team has unprecendented insight and experience of the very highest levels of Police, Military, Special Forces and additionally, Antagonist behaviour, skills and roles with surprising little details. I would heartily recommend every Actor train with Trinity Fox at some point, even if you just do a basic course, to be safe around firearms. The training covered Pistols, Rifles, Tasers⚡️, Bodyguard (intro), Quick Draws, Empty, Tactical Reloads, Stoppages, AFO/ARV Scenarios dealing with Doors, Corridors (and Stairs as a bonus), Moving and Covering and more. Trinity are actively Advising & Working on projects for the BBC, Netflix and more.

OUT! BACK IN!

Working on our zip-tying Handcuff Technique

Lots of notes 📝

Those damn doors 🚪

Pepper Pot & Leapfrog (Moving & Covering)

Instructor Fieldy had enough of me by this point and "tased" me 😂

As we were doing so well, we had the rare added bonus of tackling stairs.

Thanks to Instructors Mike & Fieldy @_trinityfox1 for making their first trip to train Actors outside London! Thanks to Amy @rollingacademyworkshops for arranging. They'll all be back at the very start of Feb 2027 so you should definitely jump on 👊🏼

@_hollycarlo will protect delicate me (don't I look quite vicious as the principal 😂)

My turn to protect Hol

Changed to Bodyguard clothes but still had my boots on haha

Very important Postural Awareness in how the Police are trained to stand and my Security Training is quite similar.

✨ A full day of PLAY.🎬

Last Sunday, we had the absolute pleasure of spending a Full Day Workshop with Director Lloyd-Eyre Morgan @lemfilms — and what a joyful day it was.

Exploring, laughing, creating… and most importantly, playing.

Throughout the day, our actors worked on scenes with Lloyd, shooting on an URSA 4.6K, with lighting and boom, before the footage also received a colour grade. For them to take away.

So alongside a full day of working with a director, exploring scenes and having those invaluable conversations in the room, every actor left with professionally shot footage of their work to use and keep.🎥

There was something really special about seeing that combination come together — the freedom to play, without losing sight of creating something tangible at the end of it.

A huge thank you to Lloyd for bringing so much generosity, warmth and openness to the room — and to every actor who showed up ready to be curious, brave and playful.

Days like this are exactly why we love what we do. ❤️

**Connect. Explore. Play. Create.**
