Do you still have your PS4? 🤔
__
I still have my PS4 and its even still connected in the main TV of the house. I just haven't used it as much
these past few years because of my handheld consoles (mainly the Switch and now the Steam Deck).
__
I'm still thinking about selling it or giving it to one of my younger relatives but every time I do, I over think about letting it go 😅
__
I've settled on the idea of selling it soon and just keep my PS4 games for when I upgrade to the PS5. I'm not going to lie, I don't feel the urge to upgrade as much as I did from previous generations.
__
How about you? Do you still have your PS4 and still using it? Or do you have a PS5 but stll play your PS4 games on it? Im curious to know and maybe I can find the push to upgrade. 😅

What are you guys playing over the weekend? 🤔
__
Its the long weekend here for us in Australia and I only have a week left of parental leave. Maybe its time to get back into Trails into Reverie. I took a break away from the series as I wanted not to burn out after finishing nine of them! 😅
__
Have a great ahead everyone!

This is the 2023-2024 that I mostly shared with everyone here on Instagram. A journey through the Legends of Heroes series and how I was reminded of the time when I discovered my joy of playing JRPGs.
__
What I didn't share though was the rollercoaster ride of emotions leading up to today, a ride that looked like this:
• Finding out we were pregnant near the start of 2024
• The sudden realisation of my own mortality as a husband and a father to be.
• Excitement, joy, fear, and anxiety slowly sinking in as a father to be.
• Overthinking about being not "prepared" enough to become a father.
• Having a job that I really enjoyed and settling in well now but at the same time thinking my working hours will have me spend less time with my growing family.
• Also worrying about money.
• The social anxiety of being a parent 😱
__
There are a few more that I could list in here but these should cover what I've been feeling the past year.
__
Don't let anyone talk you down for being a gamer, as for me, especially the The Legends of Heroes series, have helped process what I've been going through the past year. Even right now, my games are helping get through the incoming days of being a parent. 😅
