This might be hard to believe but there was a time where I wasn’t in the emo scene, I completely lost myself in another person and tried to grow up and stray away from emo music, rock music, music that makes me feel like a kid again. I tried really hard to be someone that I realize now, that I will never be. I pushed away almost everything I truly enjoyed to make someone else comfortable.

I will never do that again. I will never apologize for what I like and how I dress or how many stupid tattoos I have.
I will not try to fit into a square box ever again. I will never lose myself in a person ever again, I might not even date someone ever again. The freeing feeling of doing whatever I want , whenever I want is the best feeling I’ve ever felt in my life.

If you think your life is over because of a catastrophe, a divorce, a bad decision you made. It’s not, you have the power to start over. You can start over right now. Community is everywhere, you just have to get out there.
Life is too short to not feel free.
Thank you to all the new friends I’ve met along this healing journey, I love each and everyone one of you that have stuck by my side.
Rant over.
