When life begins to unravel, our first instinct is to assume something has gone wrong. But what if the unraveling is actually the kindness of God at work? He is not dismantling what He built. He is dismantling what we built in His place. And underneath it all, He is simply saying, "I want to see who you really are." #FalseIdentity #GodsKindness #IdentityInChrist #ChristianLiving #AmyPerkins #TrueIdentity

Before Jesus performed a single miracle. Before He healed anyone. Before the ministry even began, the Father looked at Him and said, "You are my Son, chosen and marked by my love." Loved before accomplishing. Belonging before doing. Performance, Possessions, Approval. None of it matters when you are secure in your identity as BELOVED. #BelovedFirst #IdentityInChrist #AmyPerkins #GodsLove #beloved #identity

Summer weather couldn’t keep us off the mountain.

Mo’s second time skiing and she did awesome.
Aiden was fearless. These are good days.

When you feel inferior, you look for somewhere to feel superior. That's what a critical spirit really is, and most of us do it without even realizing. God, give us curiosity instead of assumption. Compassion instead of irritation. Help us to be people who build up instead of tear down. #CriticalSpirit #ChristianGrowth #Conviction #SermonOnTheMount #Discipleship #LogsAndSpecks

Happy birthday to my best friend, my favorite person, and my forever love!

Today we celebrate @amyleaperkins. Personally, I find her pretty easy to celebrate.

If you can, do me a favor and blow up her phone w/ texts and messages. She deserves all the love.

Happy Birthday, babe

SEEK | 21 Days of Prayer

Beginning January 11, we’re inviting our church to intentionally seek Jesus together.
Setting aside time each day to be with Him.
Creating space for prayer and worship in our homes.
Joining as a church to pray for renewal in our hearts, our church, and our region.

“Two points of attention are necessary to maintain a spirit of prayer that unites us with God. We must continually seek to nurture it, and we must avoid everything that tends to make us lose it.” ~ François Fénelon

Join us as we seek Him first and allow God to realign our hearts and focus.

Daily prayer gatherings
Monday–Thursday
7am | 12pm | 6pm

The church will also be open for personal prayer
7am–12pm, Monday–Thursday

“A dream in my heart has been to create a space for women to have time to connect with Jesus. We are creating 1 hour each week for women to drop their kids off and be able to have a solid kid-free hour in worship and prayer! I believe this hour will fuel the in and out moments when they can connect with Jesus throughout the week, but they know they can count on this time to open the Word, open their hearts, and be with Him.” - Pastor Amy

Are you a woman desiring time to connect with other women around worship, prayer, and His activity in our lives? Join us Wednesday Mornings at 9:00A throughout our 21 days of SEEK!

🏷️ Downtown Colorado Springs Church, women’s ministry, moms of Colorado Springs, childcare provided, families in Colorado Springs desiring to worship God and pray for their households, hearts, city, nation, and church, presence-centered, prayer meeting, wholehearted disciples of Jesus, moms who love Jesus, women’s prayer meeting
