We’ve been getting our hands on some fantastic HEAD Pickleball equipment, and we’re seriously impressed! 👌

Nets – sturdy, practical and perfect for getting sessions set up quickly.
Paddles – great feel, control and power.
Tour 40 Balls – brilliant for training, rallies and match play.

Quality equipment makes such a difference when you’re on court, and this setup is already looking 🔥

Whether you’re completely new to pickleball or already addicted to the game… Head has got the equipment to get you playing! 😍

➡️ Footwork Before the Swing

🎾 I always start with the feet when I am coaching the attacking two handed backhand. Get the footwork right and the shot has access to easy power.

✅ Two steps to the ball. Not one. A single big step leaves you lunging and off balance. Two controlled steps gets the body to the right position with momentum already building.

✅ Side step first. Lining the body up with the ball laterally.

✅ Then the second step. Forward down the court. Not across the body. Forward. That direction is what turns the shot from neutral into attacking.

✅ Right foot lands heel first for a right hander. The weight rolling from the heel onto the toe as the body moves into contact. That roll is where the forward momentum comes from. Not the arm. The feet.

🎾 Double step. Side step then step forward. Heel rolling to toe. Momentum already carrying into the ball before the swing has even started.

🚀 This is the detail that separates an attacking backhand from a passive one. Try it in your next session and tell me in the comments what changes.

What a day! 🏆🎾 Cheshire County Championships U9 Singles Champion 2026! 🏆

I’m so proud to say I won the Cheshire County Championships U9 Singles title today! 💙🤍

It was an amazing battle against my mate @oliver_tennis.cross — and a proper Head v Head battle! 😂🎾 @head_tennis

The first set went all the way to 12–10 😱🔥. I then went 5–3 up in the second, but Ollie played some amazing tennis to fight his way back into it. I managed to stay focused and eventually took the second set 7–5. 💪

What a match, what a battle and what a great friend to share the court with! 👊🎾

I’m sure there are going to be lots more battles between us over the years! ❤️

And the best part… tomorrow we’re doubles partners! 😂🙌 We’ll be teaming up for the U10 Cheshire Doubles.

🏆 Cheshire U9 Singles Champion 2026
🎾 Head v Head big thank you to @head_tennis @amyredman_headuk for your support. Supporting the best
🤝 Friends on and off court
💙 Cheshire Tennis

Big thanks to everyone who supports me on this journey! So a big shout out to my coaches @lauren_banks_tennis_coach and @sportusaandy and my club @widnestennisclub
and also to ‘chatting Matt’ at @peak_psychology 🙏

What a week at the English Open! @englandpickleball

Team HEAD had an amazing time filled with competitive play, paddle demos, fun mini games, and plenty of great vibes on and off the court.

A big thank you to all of our HEAD athletes who competed throughout the week! We love seeing Team HEAD out there representing and rocking it on the court. 💪

Such a successful week, and we already can’t wait for the next one!

What was your favorite part of the English Open? 👇

#such great learning experience overseas competing in a high level ITF against best European players in a very tough conditions 🥵🔥💨 dealing with very different opponents and difficult situations 🤥playing on the surfaces where i don’t practice at all 🧱 but also met great international players, tried their home cuisine and visit places where i never been before. Szentes-Dunakeszi-Budapest-Sofia-Istanbul. Very grateful for the opportunity, support and people who got involved and helped me to make that happen 🙏🏻. Special mention to @judymurray_ for a big help and support without you none of this would be possible 😘🤗Now time to come back and work on what I learned from my trips 💪💪🎾#headtennis_official #teamhead #lta #judymurray

We work where we play!

Our very own HEAD Team competed this year at the largest indoor Pickleball event in the world, the 2026 English Open. It’s one thing to work in Pickleball. It’s another to get on court and compete ourselves. After all, we have to enjoy the benefits of the job!

See you next year English Open!

✨ THE ENGLISH OPEN 2026 🇬🇧 ✨

What an experience! 🩷🏓

So many highlights, so many memories and so many amazing people.

Friends, new friends, incredible matches and SO much talent on show. 🤩

The atmosphere all week was something special and the organisation was absolutely brilliant. It really did feel like the best indoor pickleball tournament in the world! 🌍🏓

More than anything, it showed me what a fantastic pickleball community we have here in the UK 🇬🇧 — supportive, welcoming and full of people who just love the game.

Thank you to everyone who organised the event, competed, supported, encouraged me, stopped for a chat or simply helped make my first English Open such a fun and unforgettable experience.

Here are just a few of my favourite moments… 🎥🩷

Already missing it!

Love,
Anya 🩷
