I moved to Calgary in September 2010 on a total whim. I didn’t know anyone except the coach I came to train with (Les), who I’d met twice, and my cousin Mia, who I hadn’t seen in a decade. Next month marks 15 years in this city, and somehow it feels more like home than anywhere else ever has. It really does take a village. To help a 19-year-old with zero contacts fall in love with a city, stay for over a decade, to thrive and become the successful and confident person I am today. These are just a few of the amazing humans who’ve shaped my journey in Calgary and continue to help me grow into the happiest, healthiest, most successful version of myself!

In the in-between I caught @marco_di_b speaking at the @viasportbc conference Friday and some arctic blondes on the slopes at @sunshinevillage on Sunday!

1 month into 2025, 9 flights down I’m far from my goal of travelling less but very on track in my goals of aligning my values with my actions and having presence in every moment. 🌱
