So last night was amazing. I stayed at my vending booth all night and didn’t get to see much beyond that until the show was over but here is what I did get to see. I saw moments to self, I saw relief, joy, and comfort in my cozy area, I heard so many great laughs too. I saw resonance with the words of affirmation people chose. I saw people who were meant to be where they were. I saw surprise and many funny ass and wholesome reactions to my “NO SHOES ON CARPET (This is an Asian Household)” sign. I saw my friends, so many of my friends! The people that did recognize my work in the gallery took the time to tell me how much they loved it. Moments that really stuck with me belong with Loretta, Autumn, Kat, and Darryl. I am grateful for how my work bonds us, and I hope you few know I am not forgetful when it comes to conversations only we know. I had so many people wish me good luck with Thailand and New York, the last being the stranger who took these first two pictures of me. Thank you for joining me in my last show in Atlanta (for now). Until next time, I love you art friends!! Take care and stay healthy so we may see each other again.
