What happens when you blend a French family and a Brazilian family at a warm summer garden in NYC? One of the sweetest weddings we’ve had!

@amyzaroff planned this one to perfection and everyone was on the dance floor by the end of the night. Perfectly decorated by @bourgeonflowers, entertainment covered by @elanartists . It was a fabulous wedding through and through and the bride was so perfectly elegant it made all our photos feel like a french countryside dream.

You can feel when a company’s values are real. That was my first impression walking into the 2026 Waterton Associates Leadership Summit.

The theme was “Discover Your Edge, Elevate Your Impact, and what stood out is that this group doesn’t need to be convinced they have an edge. They know they bring something meaningful to the table, and they’re committed to sharpening it. In many organizations, values live on posters. Here, they show up in conversations, decisions, and how people speak about their residents and each other.

You could feel the Waterton way in action!!

With antisemitism at an all time high, many of you often ask, "What can I do to help? How can I speak out too?"⁠
⁠
I want to remind you---while I'm an acquired founder, marketing consultant and the host of a top 1.5% podcast---I am also a suburban mom, just like many of you. And on October 8th, 2024 I simply shared how I felt---so many of you responded and I haven't stopped talking since. ⁠
⁠
I understand that not everyone wants to speak out here on social media---and that's OK. Everyone has a role to play and trust me, in this fight we're in---we all must show up and do our part. ⁠
⁠
Over the last eighteen months, many of you have welcomed me into your communities to share these sentiments through many talks and panels. I've been lucky to meet you in Baltimore, MD; Akron, OH; New York City; West Bloomfield, MI; twice on Long Island, NY; Westport, CT; Las Vegas, NV; Louisville, KY; Minneapolis, MN; and many times here around Chicago, IL. ⁠

And as we round out the year, I am again honored to have some incredible speaking engagements lined up as we continue this important fight in places like Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Chicago---with a few more in the works. ⁠
