I had faced sorrow within a weeks time
I planned to leave her behind
Even if this was The End
My light chased A Beginning
Night fell
So I got dressed and looked in the mirror
There I met “Reflection”
She told me I was the Vitamin C
needed to Sweep away sorrow
Who would’ve thought that mirrors
could hold so much power?
As I sat in the bar “Reflection”
joining me again as i began to sip
the grace of my Martini.
I remembered meeting her within the Suns rays
As it hit my face as my mom would be staring down at me while she held me in her arms
And told me “Baby you’re the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen. Sorrow could never fit in so much beauty” “I know you’d save the world with your beautiful & energy because you’ve saved mine”
