At the end of July, Banana Ball took over Wrigley. I was lucky enough to attend each game that weekend, taking a total of 11 people to their very first Banana Ball game. Each day was filled with fun, laughter and dancing, but Sunday was special.

Through a lot of faith, trust and the magic of Wrigley, I was able to pull off the impossible. Not long after arriving at Wrigley, I was able to surprise my cousins with passes to go on the field before the game to meet the players from both teams!

The moment we stepped onto the field, the kids kinda froze as they realized this was really happening. Lucky, Bradford was the first person they met. His kindness and patience helped to calm their nerves.

They went on to have such an incredible experience. Watching them have so much fun was the best part of the entire weekend.

Life can be a struggle. When you find something that brings you joy, hold on to it.

With all the excitement and craziness of the weekend, I completely forgot to do the traditional nail photo. Guess I’ll just have to go to another Firefighters game soon. Is it September yet?
