Ana is a film conservator who has worked in national film archives in Brazil, Ireland, and the UK. With a background in audiovisual studies, a Master’s in Creative Process, and specialised training in film restoration, she cares for analog film and is drawn to reflective storytelling. Her practice evolves from the documentary format and tends to explore the space between identity, belonging, and memory.

Cine Brazil invited me to create content during the Brazilian Summer Nights, a contemporary film festival in London. The fourth film was The Second Mother, and Ana Levisky had the challenge to talk about the film before the screening to an international audience.
