“I’m sorry when I’ve come with my agenda
I’m sorry when I forgot that You’re enough
Take me back to where we started
I open up my heart to You”
-Nothing Else by: Cody Carnes

social media is a place where we mostly post the highlights of our life or even like to put on a facade of the life we are living. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t guilty of it at times. But as this semester and year comes to a close and I reflect, I’ve felt convicted to share the more vulnerable side of life. the side of life we don’t like to share with others. I’d be willing to say it was a year that tested my faith. there were times that I wasn’t sure how much faith I had left to give and times that I questioned God’s goodness and mercy. that I have tried to make ends meet on my own. that I’ve forgotten that with God I’ve got everything I need. times where I’ve told God what I need from Him rather than asking for His wisdom. So as I look back on this semester I want to make these lyrics a prayer of repentance and a prayer of gratitude for the blessings He has poured out even in my doubt and even in my running.

*these pics are just a few blessings and examples of the goodness of the God we serve!

Up next for our senior recognition is Anahi Ramirez. Anahi is graduating as a Business Administration major. "One of my favorite memories of being apart of the ETBU Spirit team is just being with a great group of girls and making memories together at the football games. The friendships and shared experiences have made my time at ETBU truly special."

Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Come to the football game this Saturday November 12th at 1pm and help us recognize all our amazing seniors.
