Against Civilization, for Indigenous Sovereignty:

Colonialism is the most deeply rooted hierarchy there is. Colonialism isn’t killed by just dismantling a colonial state and the systems of control and domination it puts in place. Whatever form of social organization that takes that state’s place is still on stolen land.

It can work to dismantle every type of hierarchy imaginable but if its still on stolen land, it is colonial and profits from the genocide of indigenous people. The only way to dismantle colonialism is indigenous sovereignty of the land and land back.

It is not enough to target colonial states and the social and economic hierarchies they enforce and perpetuate, we need to resist settler colonial civilization as a whole. Anarchists on stolen land, like I am, need to be centering indigenous voices, aiding indigenous struggles where we are needed and wanted, and resisting settler civilization.
