In 2020 I started Hundred Magazine, an annual magazine featuring 100 Oklahoma City women. It was growing more and more evident that the work women were doing in my community was not the type of work that was getting press.

I was tired of seeing “top” and “power” lists that highlighted women based solely on accomplishment, and immediately asked “honorees” for money.

I was saddened by meeting women who were doing the heavy work of feeding neighbors, raising kids alone, caring for aging parents never getting the recognition they deserved.

I wanted to show women they were valuable not just because of what they do, but who they are.

Today, we’ve highlighted 300 women in three issues and are preparing a fourth issue that drops this fall. I am honored to tell these stories and change the way we recognize and honor women in our community.

Many thanks to our advertisers for making it possible:

In case no one has ever told you- YOUR STORY MATTERS. Your *real* story, not just the 10-second answer to the question “tell me about yourself” or the highlight reel you portray online. We care to share the real, authentic stories of women in Oklahoma City because they connect us, inspire us and give us perspective. Double tap if you agree 💙

In 2018, I opened @thetreasuryokc to serve the incredible women I was meeting in Oklahoma City. Along the way, I started Hundred Magazine to encourage and connect even more women.

This spring I sold The Treasury to go all in on the magazine and today I gathered with some Hundred honorees to celebrate the unique way women manage to keep reinventing themselves. I am so thankful to @williamlaurenco for hosting us, a place that’s seen so many women through their own personal reinventions and transitions.

I am amazed and inspired by the way women honor their current seasons by being nimble in their work.

Cheers to the next chapter! 🥂

SAG-AFTRA strike needs your support. You can call a studio or write a letter. Have compassion actors are entrepreneurs, too! Their product is their acting chops and skills. They can perform on camera, in studio voicing an animation movie and more!. I was out at Paramount a week ago and right after that writers went back to work...but now it's time for my Union, too the actors to return.,

Hey I know when it's my birthday I want cake or something like that not too bad 😀 so here's my version.

I use the desert shells from bakery a vegan version if possible then I fill them with fresh fruit like blueberries, strawberries work well and are yummy! Yes this is when I break the rules for myself and top with real heavy whip cream and sprinkle on top that, ground cloves. Then I top with a fresh mint leaf. Delish

Try and it doesn't have to be your birthday this can be a great dessert for any time. I also love this porition size, too..

Enjoy-Mikaeli
