We are excited to announce the commitment of Nas Rezk to UBC Men’s Basketball! 🦅

Originally from Egypt, Nas has taken a unique basketball journey with stops in the United States and ultimately moving to Canada with his family as he continues pursuing high level basketball and academics. He has represented the Egyptian youth national team in major international competitions, including the AfroBasket tournament, gaining valuable experience against high level competition from a young age.

Nas is a physical and versatile wing that shoots the ball well and brings a lot of speed and intensity on the defensive end. He is a very motivated young player that wants to keep improving all areas of his game over the next years!

Join us in welcoming Nas to Point Grey Campus!

ALWAYS POWER TRAINING IS NEEDED TO INCREASE YOUR VERTICAL JUMP….🔥
One of my favorite methods i use for my athletes is contrast training which combines heavy lifts and plyometrics. 🧨

PUSHING HEAVY WEIGHTS IS ESSENTIAL ⬇️⬇️
Basketball is a contact game 🏀, pushing heavy weights will increase your power in contact 🤛 , not only that it will help you shoot from bigger ranges with less effort 🔥, boxing out, hand quickness 🧨 or even defensive steals⚡️ all of this need a good upper body and a very important factor is decreasing risk on injury. 💪🏻💪🏻
