Introducing now our second featured artist for our booth at Affordable Art Fair Houston this October: Ana Stapleton! Colorful but calming, Ana's dreamy paintings inspire us! 🎨

If you're new to Ana and her work, Ana’s creative career spans the worlds of art, film, hospitality, and design. Part treasure hunter, part storyteller, she’s fascinated by the hidden gems and wild juxtapositions that life offers up. Her love of words, color, and culture infuse her paintings, where she delves into cultural duality, feminine identity and everyday whimsy💫

You can explore more of her work here: https://bit.ly/3VkGrYt

To be a visual artist, to put yourself and your work out there, takes uncommon bravery. You paint into an echo chamber. Once in a while you get feedback. You sell a painting. Someone admires your work in a studio and you hear about it. But, rarely, do you get to hear from someone who really understands your work, and praises it. Who you admire greatly. You’re a fan girl.

Suleika Jaouad is a singularly brilliant storyteller and thought leader. She writes this week about Ana’s painting Mi Reina, Ana’s “tribute” to her mother.

“The colors feel joyful, almost mischievous, but the longer I spent with it, the more layered it became.”

There’s more. Go check out The Isolation Journals. Each week they will feature one of Ana’s paintings as their writing prompt.

Ana will join the show on August 30th.

The Stapleton tribe is proud!

I'm now moonlighting as Ana Stapleton's agent!

Ana's first solo show, titled "Persona," opens this Saturday from 3-6 PM at the Red & White Gallery in Fayetteville, Texas. This exhibition will coincide with the Spring Round Top Antiques & Design Show in nearby Round Top (IYKYK).

Her pieces are now available for pre-sale. You'll see that some have already sold.

I'm biased, but her newsletter is informative, fun, and clever. Check it out!

PS: for those interested in Laurel Entertainment's fundraising efforts, we have been working diligently and will provide updates to those who signed NDAs in the coming weeks. We are excited to share our progress and plan.

The Stapleton tribe will be breezing through beautiful Fayetteville, Texas next Saturday night (March 7th) in support of @anastapletonart! Her first solo art show opening will be featured in Paper City magazine during the Spring Round Top Antiques Fair. If you don’t know now you know!

Watching Ana prepare for this show has been inspiring to witness up close. She is on her way, selling new art to new clients more and more, and I hear her agent is a baller.

Give her a look online or take the beautiful drive to see it in person!

Super fun to go to a big Holiday party and find amazing art on the walls created by the one and only Ana Stapleton!

Go check out Ana’s holiday oval mini’s at @anastapletonart. They are going fast!

Perfect for dudes like me scrambling to find something “thoughtful” or leaning into our usual lame default- the gift card. Just sayin’!
