As we begin the new year, we wanted to share an update regarding The Basement. We hope this post finds you safe and supported during these challenging times. With everything happening here in Los Angeles—the fires and the devastation—they’ve left many of us shaken to the core. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, whether you’ve experienced loss personally or are standing in solidarity with loved ones and neighbors. Please know you are in our thoughts, and we’re sending strength to our entire community. In light of this, we’ve decided to take a short break from hosting events this January and February. Taking this brief pause will allow us to recharge and prepare for the year ahead. Rest assured, we’re already planning our return and are thrilled to announce our next night: Saturday, March 1st for our next dance, with plans to resume our monthly rhythm going forward. We would do February 28th but it lands on a Friday. Saturdays give us that little extra time to craft the nights you’ve come to love, and we’re looking forward to bringing the energy back stronger than ever. We’re also excited to announce a second date in March: Saturday, March 29th. Thank you for being such an essential part of this community. Your support means the world to us. Please stay safe, look out for one another, and we can’t wait to welcome you back in March.
