🎉So we did it! 🎉I hosted a virtual babyshower for the first time and it was a blast 💙💚💛🧡❤️ It was with my doula colleagues with sporadic schedules (including me), so I wanted to make is as simple & low maintenance as possible. I tweaked a bunch of games from wwws and made it into a PowerPoint. This pandemic sure trained my virtual & PC skills even tho still more to learn..🙃 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💡These are what we did💡 🚼 Who is this baby?! Before entering the room on Zoom, you change your profile pic into your baby (YOU) photo and rename yourself. Turn off your camera and enter the room. Guess each other who the baby is. This is so cute and fun! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🚼 Baby Word Scrambles There are many online — Babylist has free templates! Set a timer and each guest writes answers. Or you could work as a whole group and shouts out the answers. Actually it's quite challenging! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🚼 Silly or Genius Google, “strange baby products” or “funny baby items.” You’ll find things like butt cream applicator or baby keeper for the bathroom doors. Put the first photo to guess and second photo for an answer by animating the presentation. This can be a hit for the guests who work with babies like birthworkers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🚼Baby Charade Send a private message with an answer to the designated guest. Or you can text or simply everyone except for the designated person covers their eyes while you show the answer to the camera. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🚼Draw a Baby on Your Head Get a notebook and a piece of paper on top of your head and draw a baby. Simple! Try add details like faces and fingers. It's funny! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🚼Baby names starts with ....A! Everyone names a baby name starts with each alphabet. If you get stuck for 5 seconds, you are out! International names are more fun especially Q & X. 🤗 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💕Do you have more ideas?!

Hi friends! You or anyone you know expecting a baby soon? This is a free virtual event that can give you some insight and info on what a birth worker can do for you (especially in these confusing times). This organization provides access to birth and postpartum doulas at all income levels, focusing primarily on supporting those who are under resourced. Come! Feel free to share! Hope to see you there! 🧡

❤️Postpartum Doulas get a village, too! ❤️ . Our first doula teas & chat 💭 at my house was amazing — Debriefing, exchanging wisdoms, and inspiring each other. . We, postpartum doulas’ schedules are so sporadic as we work overnights and daytimes, so this get-together was sort of a miracle😄✌🏻. . #doulas #doulasneedcoffee #postpartumvillage #doulafriendship #postpartumdoulas #doulahood
